Over two intense weeks during November 2022 our studio had the pleasure of hosting Lavina - a Year 10 student from Al Sadiq College Greenacre Sydney.
Lavina came to us excited to know more about the design industry, in particular how colour and material choice affects styling.
During her time with us, she had a first-hand opportunity to discover and understand the process of interior design and the reason why it's an exhilarating field to work within.
Here she is with our Interior Designer Connie at WK Quantum Quartz learning all things STONE.
"My experience working at Luxe Building Design has been really intriguing, inspiring and overall enjoyable. It got tiring at times, but it always turned out to be wonderful. The Owner Fay and her Interior Designer Connie are absolutely lovely and are really inspiring.
We had amazing travels and enjoyable foods along the way. Looking at different kinds of marble, tiles and bench tops was really interesting and beautiful. The kinds of material we looked at can really take your breath away!
These women have taught me a lot of things along the way about becoming an anterior decorator and the difficulties it comes with.
Fay is a wonderful, smart and a strong woman who knows what to do in every situation. Connie is a joyful, friendly and encouraging woman who has inspired me to try and achieve my goal in becoming an interior decorator.
I wouldn't have asked for better leaders such as them. Thank you for the wonderful time we had together. I hope we bump into each other again."
